Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
General Ledger & Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date ledgers, journals, and financial records.
Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with local/federal regulations.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Monitor incoming payments, process invoices, and manage expenses.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and analyzing financial data to support decision-making.
Auditing: Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits to ensure accuracy.
Key Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role (typically 2-5+ years).
Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
Certification: CPA or similar certification is often preferred.
